We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to data brokers.
Location is collected only after a crew member actively starts a job site check-in in the Solis mobile app. While that check-in is open, the app reports the worker's position periodically so their contractor can see the job in progress — including at intervals when the worker is not moving. Reporting stops when the check-in ends.
We do not track location in the background. The app has no background-location capability on either iOS or Android, so nothing is collected while the app is closed or while no check-in is open. We do not use geofencing, and we do not track anyone outside working time.
A worker can switch it off. Location reporting can be turned off per person at any time, and the app respects that choice.
GPS coordinates collected during check-ins are associated with the relevant job record and are accessible to the account owner (the general contractor) for workforce management purposes. Crew members are informed at the time of check-in that their location is being recorded.
Location data is not shared with third parties for advertising, and is retained only for the duration necessary to support job record accuracy and dispute resolution.

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data. All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. Our infrastructure is hosted on industry-leading cloud providers with network isolation, access controls, and automated intrusion detection.
Access to production systems is restricted to essential personnel who have completed security training and operate under multi-factor authentication requirements. Despite these protections, no system is completely impenetrable. If you believe your account has been compromised, reach us through the waitlist signup on our homepage.
The Solis platform is intended for business use by adults and is not directed to individuals under the age of 18; we do not knowingly collect personal data from minors.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time; when we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top and notify active users via in-app notification or email if the changes are material.

If you provide your mobile phone number, we use it to send transactional SMS verification codes that confirm your identity during account signup, login, and account recovery. We send these messages only after you enter your number and consent in the Solis application. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages, and SMS opt-in is never a condition of using unrelated parts of the platform.
We do not sell or share your mobile phone number, opt-in status, or any SMS-related data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We share your phone number only with our SMS service provider (Twilio Inc.) and only as necessary to deliver verification messages to you. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or get help by replying HELP. Full details are in our SMS Messaging Terms.
The text message you receive looks like this: "Solis: your verification code is 123456. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help." These are one-time verification codes only. We do not send any other type of text message.
Some web browsers transmit a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal, and some transmit a Global Privacy Control (GPC) or similar opt-out preference signal. There is currently no common industry or legal standard governing how a business must respond to such a signal.
Solis does not track you across third-party websites or over time, does not sell your personal information, and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. Because we do not engage in the activities these signals are designed to stop, there is nothing for them to disable, and we do not respond differently when one is received. Website analytics are aggregate and first-party, and we do not permit third parties to collect personally identifiable information about your activities across different websites when you use our site.
